1984 Hobie Cat Corporation 18 - KITCHENER

Selling my 18' Hobie Cat:( Selling the cottage so I really won't be using this as much. It is a very fast boat and can be as comfortable or extreme as you want it to be. The longer flatter hulls with daggerboards provide a smoother/faster cut through the water versus the smaller banana hull 16' & 14"s. This also has the titanium wings with new covers. The boat overall is in decent shape - sails are good (little faded), dagger boards are newer, tramp has been refurbished, could use a few small parts here and there like drain plugs. Hulls could use a buffing or repaint. Masts are all silver except for the main which is faded black - again could use a refinishing. I have it at home in Kitchener now and it needs to be reassembled (about a 4 hour project and manuals are easy to find online) I started to buff the hulls and was planning to repaint them but just too many projects on the go now. I had a quote of $600 to sand, repair and paint the hulls by a local boat refinishing specialist. If you check out youtube videos on these boats, you will soon discover how much fun they can be.
